On the evening of December 23, as the final whistle sounded, the 2025 Hengyang “Yanfeng Wine Cup” Basketball League Finals came to an end at the Hengyang Gymnasium. In the end, the Zhengxiang Youth (China Gold) team lost 118:119, and the Extreme Sports team won the 2025 Hengyang Basketball League Championship.

On the night of the final, the Zhengxiang Youth (China Gold) team and the Extreme Sports team staged a peak showdown between the champion and the runner-up. The players from both sides were full of firepower and took the lead alternately, bringing a hearty battle to fans and friends. This finals adopts a one-match format to determine the outcome. The cheers and cheers from the audience added endless enthusiasm and motivation to the game. “I have watched the Hengyang Basketball League for more than ten years. Every time I have endless aftertaste, I feel like I am back when I was young.” Uncle Liu, 74, told reporters excitedly.

This competition will start in June 2025 and has attracted a total of 60 teams and more than 1,200 players to participate. The league is divided into five groups: A, B, C, middle-aged group, and government and enterprise group. So far, the league has completed a total of 390 games, fully demonstrating the strong atmosphere of national fitness in Hengyang.

The person in charge of the basketball league organizer said: “This competition has been held for 13 consecutive years. The team members come from all walks of life and cover a wide range of areas.
