Hélène Hendriks makes a revelation about an overnight stay at Mediapark
Hendriks will take over the presentation in the new calendar year The Winner Takes It All in itself, which will be shown on SBS6 from Saturday January 3. Fifty artists compete against each other in a musical competition. Hendriks explains in the podcast HNM enjoyed the recording days. “I had so much fun, but they were very long days.”
Once Hendriks decided to just stay at the media park. “At one point I had to be at a press presentation very early the morning after a recording day, so I thought: I’ll just stay in Hilversum. I could choose to take a hotel, but I thought: I have a camper. I’ll take it with me. Then I don’t have to go to that hotel at 1 o’clock in the morning.”
“That is a very large parking lot where everyone can see you if you are parked there at night, especially with a camper,” responds Merel Ek. Hendriks said she had parked her camper in the corner of P1. “So I went to sleep there. But guess what: I had to get up early again, but then there was a banging on the door. I thought: what are we going to get? I don’t open the door, because I just had my underwear on.

However, Hendriks was summoned to open the door anyway. “I didn’t have any make-up on yet, but there was another pounding on the door. And sure enough: it was a security guard. I pulled the curtain aside, but luckily he didn’t see who I was. But I still had to open the door.” The presenter was told that she had to leave the parking lot immediately.” Noa Vahle reacts shocked. “But were you in your underwear?” Hendriks states that at least she did not open the door completely naked. “Yes, I was in my underwear. But I did get some things done, you know. Anyway, camping in the Media Park parking lot is not allowed.”
