Gökhan Teksöz U16 Basketball: Lüleburgaz Tournament 2024

Gökhan Teksöz 7th Basketball Tournament (U-16), organized by Lüleburgaz Municipality in memory of the late coach Gökhan Teksöz, who made significant contributions to Turkish basketball and Lüleburgaz, starts on December 19. This year, the tournament will bring together the well-established clubs of Turkish basketball in Lüleburgaz.

On 19-20-21 December A total of 8 teams will compete in the tournament to be played at the Lüleburgaz Stars Football Academy Sports Hall. This year in the tournament;

The Tournament is Held in Memory of Gökhan Teksöz

Coach Gökhan Teksöz, who was known as “the name that made people love basketball” in Lüleburgaz and who died in 2018 as a result of a terminal illness at the age of 38, will once again be remembered with respect and longing with this meaningful organization. The tournament aims to keep Gökhan Teksöz’s passion for basketball alive while contributing to the development of young athletes.

Opening Match on December 19

The opening match of the tournament will be played between Darüşşafaka and Lüleburgaz Akım College on Friday, December 19 at 16.00.
