Güner’s contract on the Lower Rhine expires at the end of the season. If he leaves in the summer, Borussia would receive training compensation; now a higher transfer fee could be negotiated.

The winger is currently playing for Gladbach’s U19s and is still waiting for his professional debut. It’s not just Güner’s future at club level that is open.
