Borussia Mönchengladbach is worried about Can Armando Güner’s whereabouts. ‘Bild’ reports that Galatasaray wants to sign the 17-year-old offensive talent in the winter. Güner’s contract on the Lower Rhine expires at the end of the season. If he leaves in the summer, Borussia would receive training compensation; now a higher transfer fee could be negotiated.
The winger is currently playing for Gladbach’s U19s and is still waiting for his professional debut. It’s not just Güner’s future at club level that is open. With Argentina, Germany and Turkey, three associations are vying for the left-footer. Güner has already played for Argentine and German youth national teams.
