Tricolor’s vice-president of grassroots football, Rui Reisinger, was alongside executive director Antônio Garcia at the reception for the Argentine club’s sporting director, Diego Figueroa. Team de Guerreiros’ exchange and fundraising coordinators, André Medeiros and Carlos Cintra Junior, also discussed the future of the partnership. They even exchanged official products.

It is worth noting that the meeting marked another step in the relationship between the teams. In November, Flu had already sent the person responsible for scouting the youth divisions to Argentina, in order to strengthen the relationship with the neighboring country and closely monitor young people who emerge in the lower categories of the local elite.

The work, aiming to expand the monitoring network, has technical observers spread throughout Brazil. They also monitor athletes in the main centers of Latin America, even in competitions without the participation of Flu, in person or online. The promises are subjected to a period of testing and, if approved, integrated into the casts of Moleques de Xerém.

One of the fruits of the project is striker Palacios, who has been called up for Colombia’s youth teams and is part of the Tricolor U20 team. Champion of the FIFA Referee Cup and the OPG Tournament in 2025, in addition to the Leonel Sánchez Lineros-CHI Under-18 Tournament in 2024, he participated this year in the professional team’s pre-season.
