Jean Kindermans has launched a whole series of talents at RSC Anderlecht at Neerpede. Kindermans is currently under contract with Royal Antwerp FC, but DAZN asked Kindermans to list his top 5 purple-white talents.
Kindermans has opened the necessary doors for a large number of talents at Anderlecht. Kindermans started as a youth coach at Anderlecht, but subsequently became the director of the youth training. Kindermans emphasized that he found it a very difficult question, which he normally does not answer.
“Dennis Praet won the Golden Shoe. He joined the youth academy a little later, but I would put him at 5. At 4 Mile Svilar, that was a phenomenon. I have always wondered how such a good goalkeeper does not break through. He is now Roma’s number 1,” Kindermans shares via DAZN.
“At number 3 Jeremy Doku. A very specific talent. He is now also breaking through at Manchester City. At number 2 Youri Tielemans, I have never worked with a player with so much natural class, elegance on the ball, technique, control, passing and shooting. Never seen that purity again,” says Kindermans.
Finally, Kindermans gives his number 1 prize. “I have no choice but to consider Romelu Lukaku as number 1. I hope I won’t cause Paul Van Himst any heartache. But he is the best striker of all time in Belgium, I don’t think there should be any discussion about that.”
In episode 21 of the second season of Tijd voor Voetbal, the penalty case in RSC Anderlecht – STVV is discussed, the coaching changes at KAA Gent and Club Brugge and also the dismissal of Thorsten Fink at KRC Genk. That and much more in Time for Football.
