He wanted this medal more than anything. And Florian Jouanny is the type to persist. So to open his para-cycling world championships at the end of August 2025, he gave everything in his first event, this time trial which never ceased to elude him, during the previous Worlds as well as at the Paralympic Games. Result: gold around his neck, and the rest of the competition descended as usual, with the title in the road race and in the relay, and therefore this time three golden charms in his suitcase, the boy didn’t come for nothing.
