Flamengo confirms pre-season date with main squad

Flamengo’s main squad will return to CT George Helal to begin preparation for the year 2026 on January 12th, at 9am. The players from the under-20 team, who will represent Rubro-Negro in Carioca’s first games, returned from recess earlier, on the 2nd.

After two years of pre-season training in the United States, the club will train at Ninho do Urubu due to limited time. The club’s last game was on December 17th, when they played in the Intercontinental Cup final against PSG. Therefore, athletes will only have 25 days of vacation, less time than ideal, but the maximum possible given the challenges of the calendar.
