Flamengo 2026: Filipe Luís Axes 3 Players

Flamengo remains active in the market with a view to assembling the squad for 2026

Flamengo is negotiating the renewal of coach Filipe Luís’ contract for another two seasons. Amid talks about the extension, the red-black club made three names available on the market: Matías Viña, Allan and Michael.

According to information from the ‘GE’coach Filipe Luís does not have the three players for next season at Flamengo. Therefore, all athletes are free to look for a new club aiming for 2025.

In the Copa Libertadores final, Filipe Luís already gave evidence that he did not count on the players. The coach left Matías Viña and Allan out of the relationship for the clash played in Lima, Peru, in which Mais Querido got the better of Palmeiras.

WHAT IS MICHAEL’S SITUATION?

Michael is Flamengo’s available player most likely to leave first. This is because the 28-year-old winger is a target for Santos and Cruzeiro for next season. However, the teams have not yet presented an official proposal for the attacker.

HOW SHOULD FLAMENGO MOVE IN THE MARKET?

On the other hand, Flamengo defined its priorities for the next season. Thus, the red-black club is looking to hire a goalkeeper and a defender as its first actions towards 2026. It is worth mentioning that Mais Querido forwarded the renewal of Filipe Luís’ contract.
