A full of emotions that fly on the arrows and hit the hearts of each of the participants. The opening ceremony, with an adjoining gala of the Italian FIARC Indoor championship, is all about sport, smiles, hugs, friendship that still makes the difference, like the voice of Alessandra Busignani when she sings the national anthems of Italy and San Marino live. Representatives of the Secretariats of State are there to greet, as is the President of the Olympic Committee Christian Forcellini: “This event is part of some of the policies that we have tried to implement, encouraging the federations to organize sporting events, because sporting events for a small country like ours are an incredible business card. We must exploit them, bring people to San Marino and this occasion is one of those occasions which allows our country to highlight its hospitality and above all the beauty of its facilities, because it must also be said that we have exceptional facilities which are envied outside, as in this case here at Multieventi and therefore this does us honor and always pushes us to organize more and more international events”.
During the evening, the President of the San Marino Archery Federation, Luciano Zanotti, celebrated 30 years of instinctive shooting in San Marino by retracing with the founders all the stages from its birth to today together with the Presidents of FIARC, Flavio Arioni and of FITARCO, Vittorio Polidori, who enlivened the evening with the choreographies of the girls from Mia Gym, and a beautiful and important team of volunteers who made the event possible. Davide FilippucciPresident of the Long Arches of San Marino: “We’re talking about around 50 volunteers spread over the four days, however, for a total of around 35 people who come to work for free to lend a hand at the federation’s event. As I was saying, there are the guys from the long bows who are the company promoting this event but there are the guys from the Titan archers who I will never stop thanking because in any case we are a single federation and when we need something they are always there and give us a hand”.
