The Beninese badminton family renewed its management team this Saturday, December 27, 2025 after four years of management by President Aubin Assogba at the head of the Beninese Badminton Federation (FBBa). The message is clear among the associations and their delegates, “We do not change the team that wins”. It is with this thought that the 25 delegates present at the elective general assembly of this Saturday, December 27, 2025 renewed their confidence in President Aubin Assogba to lead the destiny of Beninese badminton for the next four years.
Making respect for the texts its workhorse, the executive committee of the Badminton Federation proceeded with the renewal of its management team, this Saturday, December 27, 2025 through the Elective General Assembly in compliance with the texts of the institution. At the end of the work, President Aubin Assogba is acclaimed. Satisfied with the outcome of the AGM, the President is committed to meeting the challenges facing Beninese badminton thanks to the support of all its stakeholders. “It’s a satisfaction. I am very happy with the team that was put at my disposal. I believe that we must work to earn the trust they have placed in us so that in the years to come, badminton can grow even more. » declared President Aubin Assogba, at the end of the EGM.
For the coming quadrennium, the Beninese Badminton Federation intends to rely on strong strategic axes which are: reinforced governance made up of a more dynamic and functional administration mainly at the league level, sporting performance through better supervision of athletes and increased technical monitoring, to energize the discipline. Inclusion and visibility to make badminton accessible to all in order to better position the discipline on the national and international scenes, are among the salient points included in the specifications of the new FBBa management team.
