We are in the final miles of the 2025 season, but it is the small details that will make the difference between experiencing the joy of winning a championship or the disappointment of defeat.
Here are nine players to target on waivers in this 16th week of NFL activities:
BALL CARRIERS
Michael Carter (Available in 94% of Yahoo! Leagues)
An injury to Bam Knight opened the door for Carter last week. The fifth-year player has done well enough to earn another chance to be the leader in the Cardinals backfield against the Falcons this Sunday.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt (Available in 52% of Yahoo! Leagues)
The Commanders running back will face Eagles defenses and the Cowboys in the next two games. These are units that are usually very generous with opposing ball carriers.
Blake Choir (Available in 59% of Yahoo!) leagues
Despite his role as second fiddle to the Rams, Corum has been collecting points for three weeks. That should still be the case Thursday night, against the Seahawks.
PASS RECEIVERS
Jayden Reed (Available in 59% of Yahoo!) leagues
Reed’s usage has continued to increase since his return from injury. The possible absence of Christian Watson could also propel him into a leading role. The Packers face the Bears, whose defense has allowed 18 touchdowns to opposing receivers, the third highest total in the NFL.

Adonai Mitchell (Available in 84% of Yahoo! Leagues)
The Jets player has had two excellent performances in his last three outings. On Sunday, he could wreak havoc against the weak Saints.
QUARTERBACKS
CJ Stroud (Available in 52% of Yahoo! Leagues)
Need a pivot? The Texans one will do the job. He will face the Raiders’ defensive unit, which ranks 14th in points allowed to quarterbacks.
J.J. McCarthy (Available in 64% of Yahoo!) leagues
The young Vikings athlete has been doing very well lately and has an appointment with the Giants and the Lions for the last two duels of the Fantasy Football season.

Colby Parkinson (Available in 95% of Yahoo! Leagues)
The Rams player will not score two touchdowns in every game as was the case last Sunday, but he is part of his team’s game plan. He has also been targeted at least five times during his team’s last three meetings.
Dalton Schultz (Available in 51% of Yahoo! Leagues)
The Texans tight end has caught at least six passes and collected at least 50 yards in five of his last seven games.
