Espanyol, with goals from Carlos Romero and Pere Milla, has come back from Athletic Club, which had taken the lead with a goal from Alex Berenguer, and won at San Mamés (1-2) in the last official match of 2025.
Berenguer opened the scoring in the 38th minute, taking advantage of a ball rejected by Cabrera and before the break, in the 43rd minute, Romero leveled the score with a phenomenal left foot shot from outside the area.
In the 52nd minute, Pere Milla took advantage of a Nolan cross from the right wing to score the last goal of the football year and give Espanyol the victory.
