Endrick Visits Lyon: Real Madrid Star Links Up With Czech Duo

Endrick (19) will spend the second half of the season on loan in Lyon. The regular player of Real Madrid, from whom they expect a lot in the Brazilian national team, will try to revive the offensive of the French team from January, alongside Pavel Šulec and Adam Karabec. Olympique stated on their website that the young striker will wear the number nine jersey.

“Real Madrid CF and Olympique Lyon have agreed to take the player Endrick on loan until the end of this season, June 30, 2026.” With this brief statement, the Spanish giant announced the highly anticipated transfer of the promising youngster, who repeatedly remained an unused substitute after the arrival of coach Xabi Alonso and played only 99 minutes in the season.

Endrick moved to the Santiago Bernabéu in the summer of 2024 from Palmeiras after reaching the age of majority, with the White Ballet reportedly agreeing a fee of around €60 million including bonuses. There was enormous interest in the young striker from leading European clubs. He, Vitor Roque and Estevao were touted as the great hopes of Brazil’s new generation.

However, the acclimatization process did not go as expected, so the Madrid giants have now agreed with Lyon on a six-month loan. Olympique stated on its website that it will pay up to one million euros for the loan of Endrick.

In the new place of work, the new bearer of the number nine will cooperate with Karabec, who wears the number seven, and Šulec, who wears the number ten, in the attack.

“His attacking profile, influence in key areas and energy are important assets to support the team in the second half of the seasonwhich is a sign of many goals to be achieved,” said the statement of the French team. On social networks, Lyon then published a welcoming video with the caption: “This year’s Christmas falls on December 23rd.”

“He is a fast, technically gifted and accurate striker who has also established himself in the Brazilian national teamas he worked his way up from the youth ranks to the Selecao in a matter of months. At the age of 19, he already has 14 national team starts and 3 goals for Brazil,” the club concluded the announcement, along with thanks to Real for their hospitality during the negotiations.

He will join the team on December 29 for the start of winter training, with the deal not including a permanent transfer option despite interest from Lyon.
