E1 Series: Tom Brady’s Team Claims Blue Impact Victory

Team Brady, owned by NFL star Tom Brady, won the 2025 edition of the E1 Blue Impact Championship presented by Bombay Sapphire. An award that the first entirely electric powerboating world championship recognizes to the team that made the most significant contribution throughout the season to the protection and restoration of aquatic ecosystems. Not only that, it also matters how it engaged fans and partners to inspire broader action to safeguard marine habitats and restore aquatic ecosystems. A result that is added to the trophy as winner of the second E1 world championship.

Brady’s commitment

Team Brady was recognized for its program “Race for Change”, created during the 2025 E1 season in collaboration with 4ocean Foundation, OceanR, OMP and WaterAid. «When we decided to create the team with team principals Ben and Joe, our goal was to win both on and off the water, and we did just that – says Brady -. Our Race for Change platform has been a driving force for real environmental impact and it was important to all of us that our commitment went beyond words. We wanted measurable change. I’m proud that we don’t just talk about doing good, we’re actually doing it».

Emma Kimiläinen, Team Brady driver, was also satisfied: «From wearing the team uniform made from recycled plastic bottles with OceanR, to raising awareness about access to clean and safe drinking water with WaterAid, these initiatives have had a real impact. One of the most significant elements was our performance-related partnership with 4ocean: in 2025, for every championship point won, 100 kilograms of plastic waste were removed from the ocean, for a total of 19,500 kg this year».
