LA VEGA.– The Dosa club was proclaimed champion of the XXXI La Vega Superior Basketball Tournament after beating La Villa 88-66 in the sixth game of the final series, a competition dedicated to Leonardo Aguilera, executive president of Banreservas, and played as an option for the Malta India Cup.
With this victory, Dosa reached his sixth championship in the history of the vegan tournament.
The leader Julio “Julito” Duquela won his third consecutive title in the La Vega Superior Basketball, after winning the 2023 and 2024 seasons with La Matica, and in 2025 at the head of the Dosa team.
The player Eusebio Suero was chosen Most Valuable Player of the final series, after averaging 25 points and 11 rebounds.
Jerry Flores also stood out in the champion team’s offense, with 19 points and nine triples, Enmanuel Egbuta, with 16 points and seven rebounds, Tyran Lattibeaudiere, who contributed 12 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, and Víctor Martínez, with 10 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
