Dewas News: National Soft Tennis Championship 2023 – MP News

The 69th National Soft Tennis School Sports Competition was inaugurated grandly at Pioneer Public School, Dewas. More than 500 boys and girls players from 16 states of the country are participating in the competition. This national level competition is being organized from 11 to 14 December.

MLA Gayatri Raje Pawar, BJP District President Rai Singh Sendhav and a large number of players and dignitaries were present as chief guests in the inauguration program. The competition was formally inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the guests.

The program began with attractive cultural presentations, while the players were administered an oath to follow sportsmanship and discipline. In this competition, matches of boys and girls age group of 14, 17 and 19 years are being played.

MLA Gayatri Raje Pawar said that organizing a national level competition in Dewas is a matter of pride. The enthusiasm among the children is worth seeing. Such events give players an opportunity to progress and the government is also continuously encouraging in this direction. The school management and district sports department have made extensive preparations for the successful organization of the competition. Young talented players from across the country will showcase their skills during the four-day competition.
