Dat Mui Badminton 2025: Opening Ceremony Highlights

The athletes will take part in the mixed doubles event after the opening ceremony.

This year’s tournament attracted around 300 athletes from various departments, agencies, armed forces, students and members of badminton clubs from the province and beyond. The athletes were divided into 8 age groups and took part in the following events: men’s doubles, mixed doubles and women’s doubles.

The 2025 2nd Dat Mui Badminton Tournament is one of the practical activities in honor of the 85th anniversary of the Hon Khoai Uprising and the Revolutionary Tradition Day of the Party Committee, the Army and the People of Ca Mau Province (December 13, 1940 – December 13, 2025); the 65th anniversary of the sister province relationship between the provinces of Ca Mau and Ninh Binh (1960 – 2025); and also an opportunity for badminton enthusiasts to meet, exchange experiences and learn from each other; creating a healthy and useful playground, jointly improving physical fitness, responding to the “National Physical Training Movement Based on the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh” and contributing to the development of mass sports movements in the region.
