CT University Women’s Badminton Championship | 2024

CT University, Ludhiana, successfully organised the AIU North Zone Inter-University Badminton Women Championship (Women) from December 10 to 14.The championship was conducted under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and witnessed participation from more than 50 universities across the North Zone.The five-day sporting event showcased exceptional talent, discipline, and sportsmanship, with players competing for qualification to national platforms.

After intense matches, the top four teams were Chitkara University, Lovely Professional University (LPU), Panjab University and CT University, Ludhiana.These teams qualified for the All India Inter-University Badminton Women Championship and the Khelo India University Games.

Expressing his satisfaction over the conduct of the championship, Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor, CT University, said, “Hosting the AIU North Zone Inter-University Championship reflects CT University’s dedication to nurturing sporting talent alongside academic excellence. The enthusiasm, discipline, and competitive spirit displayed by the athletes were truly inspiring.”
