The ceremony for the delivery of CONI sporting merit and the delivery of the ANSMES awards to athletes, technical managers and sports clubs took place on Saturday 6 December, for the first time in San Miniato at Palazzo Grifoni.
The day was organized by CONI Tuscany and the CONI Delegation of Pisa, led by Simone Cardullo and Giacomo Gozzini who declared: “It was the day of the values of sport in which we awarded the right recognition to those who stood out for their results and commitment in the year 2023. There were a total of 23 winners in the province of Pisa, with 2 gold medals for sport fishing in the surf casting category which was world champion. There We congratulate all the winners and we would like to thank the Cassa di Risparmio di San Miniato Foundation for their hospitality and for their participation in the event with president Giovanni Urti”.

The mayor of San Miniato Simone Giglioli and the councilor for Sport Elena Maggiorelli also spoke: “We are honored that CONI has chosen San Miniato for its initiative, recognizing the great sporting movement of our territory. We are delighted with the awards to our fellow citizens: Bronze star for sports managers for Franco Biagini, president of Ciclistica San Miniato Santa Croce, and Francesca De Rosa of Etrusca Basket, to whom ANSMES awarded the prestigious Award Pacchini”.

Silver medals for sporting valor: Bertolini Beatrice, track cycling race; Cardinali Andrea, parachuting; Fornacciari Diego, Muay Thai; Lenzi Gianluca, sport fishing surf casting; Macchi Filippo, individual men’s foil; Matteucci Roberto, sport fishing surf casting; Sala Luca Luigi Maria, parachuting.
Bronze medals for sporting valor: Agnellini Massimo, skydiving; Bongiorni Anna, athletics; Fornaciari Rosa, underwater target shooting; Gennari Riccardo, archery; Massaria Clara, rowing; Terrazzi Silvia, rowing; Tonelli Leonardo, motorally racing; Velasco Simone, cycling.
