An individual contribution of 69 euros per year and 40 thousand euros of funds are allocated by the Municipality of Caldogno to the diffusion of sporting activity among children and young people. The administration thus confirms its support for sport for young people, to which is added 4 thousand euros allocated to the project to introduce them to sport, which allows young athletes to approach the various sports disciplines for the first year completely free of charge, and extraordinary contributions linked to the organization of events, the support of amateur activities and other particular needs that emerged during the year.
There are 436 members in Caldogno and in this collaboration, in addition to the municipal administration, the clubs Leodari Caldogno ASD, ASD Cresole 80, ASD Basket Sportschool, ASD Aikido Caldogno, ASD Pallavolo Caldogno, Asd Atletica Caldogno, Asd Equipe Judo Caldogno and Asd Ciclisti Caldogno are involved as sports associations.
At the same time, as regards the facilities that host the various football clubs, this year the Municipality has allocated 37 thousand euros to agreements for the ordinary management of the facilities and a further series of commitments in favor of various extraordinary maintenance interventions and management of the safety systems.
“We strongly believe in the social, cultural and healthy value of sports practice, starting from children up to adult amateurs – underlined the Sports Councilor Gabriele Toniello – Being able to confirm the contributions to the clubs and the funds for the maintenance of the structures in full efficiency and safety represents an investment that we consider fundamental for the present and future of our community”.
