BVB buys property: mega project is taking shape

With the purchase of the land and the submission of the building application, the project moves into the concrete implementation phase. A medical center is to be built on an area of 7,400 square meters not far from the training ground, combining top sports medical care with the latest technology.

The BVB health world will combine the areas of sports medicine, orthopedics, cardiology and radiology on 5,000 square meters of practice space. Artificial intelligence also plays a central role, accompanied by the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (IKIM) at the Essen University Medical Center.
