So, all right, let’s move on to, uh, uh, some of the players who are, Uh, obviously retiring.

This is the end.

This is the last time I’ll ever see Busquets and Jordi Alba play well.

Let’s start with Busquets, because I mean, When we can give him, uh, you know, a nice, It’s a nice little swan song, Uh, uh.

Obviously, to end his career, uh, Winning the most coveted trophy that there is in footballing history, The MLS Cup.

I know we shouldnt read everything thats On these tiles, right?

People can read for themselves.

But listen to this, bro.

Thirty-two major trophies he’s won.

2010 World Cup winner; now 2023 Leagues Cup winner, But 32 major trophies.

That’s more than all your fingers and toes, Bro.

Damn, bro, you have a lot of rings.

You can’t count.

You need your best friend next To you on the couch, to whip his shoes off, so you can finish counting.

And even then, youre only in the 20s.

Hes got 32.

That’s just an insane career path.

And I’ve, you know, I forget who said it, but someone did.

I forget the exact quote.

But if you watch a game of football, you wont see Sergio Busquets.

But if you watch Sergio Busquets, you’ll see the whole game of football.

And he’s just one of those players where it’s like there’s nothing about him physically That’s, that’s an athlete.

There’s nothing about him.

He doesn’t have the speed.

He doesn’t, Maybe he can jump.

I don’t know.

He did, at one point, but he wasn’t known for his speed.

He didn’t use that in his game.

He made these faint moves that caused everyone else to run in opposite directions, And it’s just so impressive to have seen him throughout his career.

And he did it right here.

Because MLS isnt the type of league where You focus on those things; you focus on Messi, right?

We talk about Messi as much as you do.

You can’t talk.

About Busquets; it sucks we didn’t get to highlight as much as what he was able to do here, because what an incredible player.

Let’s talk about Jordi Alba as well because that’s somebody, Uh, in the chat, I also just saw you mentioned that Jordi Alba shouldn’t retire At all.

He could, uh, do this for another 3 years.

He does look like he’s still got it.

He played all 90 minutes, I mean, he obviously played every part.

Second, and he’s one of those players where you don’t, you don’t see his age as much as you do Busquets on the pitch.

Yeah, I mean, defensively, Jordy, I don’t know if he can.

Talked about him first because 17 Major Trophies.

It’s like, that’s still great, but you’re not Asking your boy to whip his toes out, you know.

Um, so yeah, he won the Champions League, obviously won the League Cup.

Uh, as well last year, uh, two years ago, but this is a, Another player who, I would argue, is a bit different because he’s a left back Got it, and especially in this league, you have to defend quite a bit.

Jordi Alba is a bit of a risk.

Defensively, sure, but going forward, I just mean physicality.

He looks like he’s still moving forward, theres probably no better left back, Uh, in the league currently.
