The book “Bloom: Everything is possible” describes the life and career development of the long-time captain of the national basketball team, during which he became the first Latvian to reach the top eight of the modern Euroleague.
Bloom states that the book is designed to be read by both a child and a teenager, as well as anyone who followed him during his active basketball career. He also notes that the title of the book symbolizes motivation – not to give up and continue.
During his 22-year career as a professional basketball player, Blum played five seasons in the Spanish ACB tournament, which is considered the strongest national basketball league in Europe, three seasons in the Euroleague, and was also the captain of the Latvian national basketball team for ten years. Blūms is the winner of the Latvian Sports of the Year Award in the nomination “Exemplar in Sport”.
