The best from the Czech Republic, Lucie Charvátová, will start on the track with number 23 with a loss of one minute and twelve seconds. The best Czech biathlete of the season so far will try to build on her success from last week, when she took a sensational sixth place in the pursuit in Östersund and missed only two targets out of twenty shots. “I’m terribly happy, a little on my old knees, but it’s still dragging,” she gushed immediately after the best fighter of her career.
And Charvátová continues the successful performances from the beginning of the season in Austria. In the sprint, she achieved a better result only with the last shot while standing. She will thus start the fighter from twenty-third place, but in contact with the best, after all, she will lose only thirty seconds to the eighth starting Weidel from Germany.
The often-criticized Charvátová also showed good form, especially in shooting, in Saturday’s relay, where she again avoided a penalty round and managed a critical situation on the stand. “I guess I played on everyone’s nerves and myself, two bullets for two targets were on the edge,” described the biathlete, who, however, contributed significantly to the relay’s final seventh place with her performance.

Markéta Davidová will want to improve her position in the fighter, she will start the race with number 40
On the contrary, her finisher Markéta Davidová, who will start the chase with number 40, may have a slightly bittersweet feeling about the team race. She lost the battle for sixth place in the relay and was not even completely satisfied with her skis. “I didn’t ride very well, my feelings weren’t great today,” she admitted after Saturday’s race.

Davidová starts the chase with a loss of one minute and forty-one seconds to the winner of the sprint and her conqueror from the finish in the relay, Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot. She will have a nice lead of fifteen at the start, or sixteen seconds to the Norwegian-Swedish pair Maren Kirkeeideová and Anna Magnussonová.
It is the Swede who holds the yellow jersey for now, the winner of the only fighter so far in the season, Austrian Lisa Theresa Hauserová, will ride in red, but she did not do well in the sprint and will start from 41st place at the same time as Davidová.
