Mihajlo Cvetkovic started three games in a row at Anderlecht, but then had to start on the bench. In that period, Besnik Hasi opted for Bertaccini in the striker position and first Stroeykens, then Llansana in the starting line-up.
Yet the young Serbian attacker always made himself heard during his substitute appearances. His energy and drive ensured that Anderlecht could turn games around.
“Everything happened very quickly for him and we noticed that he no longer had the same energy in the last matches,” Hasi explained his bench status. “In such a case, it is better to slow down the rhythm a bit for a young player.”
Cvetkovic scored points for Hasi in the match against Antwerp
Cvetkovic was a determining factor in the second half against Antwerp. Anderlecht came back from a 0-2 deficit and made it 2-2 thanks to its influence on the field.
“He’s doing better now,” Hasi continued. “We see how he comes back with energy and can turn games around. He will probably start again on Friday.”

Hasi doesn’t have much choice anyway. Bertaccini alone in the striker does not appear to be a direct hit and every time Hasi adjusts his line-up, Anderlecht gets into trouble.
