LOCHEM – The Badminton Club Lochem traditionally organizes the now well-known Oliebollen tournament at the end of the calendar year. A badminton tournament for everyone who finds badminton a fun game and where fun is central. This year the tournament will be on Monday, December 29, 2025 in the Beemd sports hall in Lochem.
This year, the sports hall will once again be transformed into a winter scene with an après ski bar with delicious snacks, including oliebollen from Bakker ten Broeke. The start is at 8 p.m. Everyone is divided into teams and there are always 10-minute game rounds. A final will be played around 9:45 PM to determine the winner. There is plenty of time between the games to have something tasty and to meet each other.
Everyone can participate, young, old, beginners, experienced, members, non-members, alone or with a team. The condition is that participants register in advance; this can be done via email. Rackets can be borrowed, indoor shoes required. The tournament is sponsored by Hof van Gelre and is therefore completely free! Anyone who would like to practice badminton before the tournament is welcome on Monday and Thursday evenings from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the Beemd sports hall in Lochem.
