Badminton Denmark: Odense Warehouse & Denmark Open 2023

Badminton Denmark has moved its warehouse from Brøndby to Odense. The new warehouse passed its first test in autumn 2025 at Denmark’s biggest badminton event, the Denmark Open. The location in the middle of the country gives Badminton Denmark a great logistical advantage when they have to hold events across the whole of Denmark in the future. The letting of the 537 m² warehouse property is mediated by EDC Erhverv Poul Erik Bech Fyn, which on behalf of Bertélco Ejendomme A/S has been responsible for three quick lettings in Hjallese Erhvervspark.

In autumn 2025, the 80th edition of the Denmark Open, the world’s second-oldest badminton tournament and the largest annually recurring badminton event in Denmark, took place in Odense. The Danish gold medals did not appear, but Badminton Denmark can look back on a successful event where a new warehouse in Odense made the logistics somewhat easier. Brian Bach Moesgaard, event manager at Badminton Denmark, says:

“We have moved our entire event warehouse, which consists of everything from track mats, net posts and counting equipment to bands, decoration and signs, to Fyn. We have chosen to move everything to make the logistics as efficient as possible and avoid duplication of work or unnecessary coordination between several locations. A well-organized warehouse is a great help in our work and a great help to our volunteers, who can more easily identify materials we need during both unpacking, setting up and unpacking.”
