The Brazilian Championship ends with a democratic selection in the ESPN Silver Ball Award. In total, five teams placed players in the competition’s ideal team: Flemish, Cruise, Palm trees, Mirassol e Vasco.
Cruzeiro managed to defeat champion Flamengo and ended up with more players in the team. There are four representatives from the Minas Gerais team (Fabrício Bruno, Lucas Romero, Matheus Pereira and Kaio Jorge) against three from Rio (Léo Pereira, Arrascaeta and Pedro).
Flamengo, however, had the best player in the Brasileirão. Arrascaeta crowned his fantastic competition by winning the Ballon d’Or.
