Arnold Schwarzenegger & The Toy Race: 6Ter’s Cosmic Connection

As the holiday season approaches, Howard Langston, a busy businessman, has little time to take care of his son, Jamie. A traffic jam causes him to miss giving a new judo belt to the toddler, who is terribly angry with him. To redeem himself, Howard has only one solution: offer Jamie the toy he covets above all else, a “Turbo Man” equipped with all his accessories. Howard even told Liz, his wife, that the gift was already ready. Nothing could be further from the truth and Howard rushes into a toy store. Weary! There’s no more “Turbo Man” in town. In his mad rush, Howard comes up against Myron Larabee, a postman, also summoned by his son to rise to the occasion by offering him the legendary toy…

BLACKY EN MODE TURBO

On Christmas Eve, to get his hands on the Turbo Man figurine and please his son, Howard (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is ready to do anything. Paid 20 million dollars (yes, yes!), a third of the film’s budget, the Austrian bodybuilder turned actor and future governor of California gives himself like crazy in this good-natured comedy, typical of the 90s, which – good luck – will accumulate 130 million dollars in revenue worldwide. For the record, the key scene of the big Christmas parade, supposed to take place in New York in December, was filmed in the sun… in California, in Los Angeles.
