Archery Selection: Tryouts & Team Info

Isabella Chorvat (15) from the Centro de Cazadores Club and Bruno Rostán Vespa (13) from CAPRI were selected by the Argentine Archery Federation (FATARCO) to integrate the national team in their respective categories during the 2026 season.

In the last few hours, the FATARCO call was announced, which includes Isabella in the Sub 18 Women’s Recurve category and Bruno, in the Sub 15 Men’s Recurve category. It is worth clarifying that the goalkeeper from Centro de Cazadores has been part of the national team since 2024, while for the CAPRI shooter it is his first call-up.

From FATARCO they indicated that for the call in the U21, U18 and U15 categories, the two best results obtained in rankable tournaments of the first semester were considered, plus the two best in rankables of the second half of the year, among which The Argentine Youth Cup 2025 and the National Outdoor Final 2025 stand out, two mandatory tournaments for archers.

In the Argentine Youth Cup, Isabella became champion for the second consecutive year in Women’s Recurve Under 18; while Bruno placed second after qualifying, surpassing his personal best with 603 points, and after the qualifying rounds, he took fourth place in Men’s Recurve Under 15.

In the National Final, which was held weeks ago in Tucumán, Isabella took third place in her category but won gold in the Under 18 Recurve Mixed Team Coastal Zone with Gabriel Tonina from Chajarí. Bruno was fifth in his category.

Regarding the scores achieved to become part of the national team, Isabella added 2,359, which allowed her to place herself in first position in the category. Bruno, for his part, reached 1,182 and placed third in the ranking of his category.

In this way, the province adds two representatives to the national team with a view to the competitions in 2026.

To the selection

Isabella Chorvat will continue to represent the country in the Under 18 Women’s Recurve category while for Bruno is his first call-up and will be part of the Under 15 Men’s Recurve team.
