Everything is ready for the 2025 Italian Youth Centers Cup, an archery competition for athletes in the very young, boys, pupils and junior categories organized by the ASD Arcieri Curtis Vadi which will stop in Latisana at the Palasport in via Giovanni Bottari on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December.
The event was presented on Thursday 4 December during a press conference which took place in the Octagonal Hall of the Multifunctional Center of Latisana, in the presence of numerous guests including Lanfranco Sette, mayor of Latisana, Carlo Tria, sports councilor of the municipality of Latisana, Maddalena Spagnolo, regional councillor, Vittorio Polidori, national president of FITARCO, Carmine Fiorito, organizer of the event and president of the FITARCO Regional Committee Friuli Venezia Giulia, Federico Pettenazzo, FITARCO federal councilor, Erika Dessabo, FVG Sports and Health coordinator, Lino Ceciliot, president of the Sports Council of the Municipality of Latisana, Ezio Luvisetto, coach of the Italian National Para Archery team, Giuseppe Verzini, Italian men’s overall champion 2025 Italian National Para Archery team, Elisabetta Petris, Italian Junior Female champion 2025 of the Italian National Para Archery team and Letizia Visintini of the ASD Compagnia Arcieri of Cormons.
This is a highly prestigious event included among the national Fitarco events which officially closes the competitive season. The sixteen most deserving Italian clubs on the youth scene will compete, recognized as Fitarco 2025 Youth Centers for commitment, results and attention to the growth of athletes. Teams made up of boys and girls from the very young, boys, pupils and junior categories will take to the field, competing in the Olympic Division in an 18 meter indoor competition with 30 arrows in qualifying and in a team Match Round in the groups before the final which will award the title.
The event guarantees full visibility to young athletes who will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of technicians of the Italian national team and representatives of sports institutions.
The event brings with it an important message of inclusiveness, a typical peculiarity of the archery discipline, as Paralympic athletes will also participate in the various competitions and will compete side by side with able-bodied athletes, under the same conditions. The event is organized under the patronage of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the Municipality of Latisana and “Sport e Salute” and has the support of Fitarco and the regional brand “Io Sono Friuli Venezia Giulia”.

“An event that was born, from an organizational point of view, over 12 months ago and which saw the archers Curtis Vadi, and all the subjects who collaborated with them, do their utmost to make important resources available both in temporal and economic terms, with the ultimate aim of guaranteeing the perfect success of the event. A beautiful sporting event. A moment of sport, sharing and friendship. The best way to end the sporting year, with this event which goes beyond the boundaries of the competition in a collective celebration for shooting the bow.”
After presenting the Italian Youth Centers Cup, in the same venue, the seminar “Bow and different skills” was held with the testimonies of Ezio Luvisetto, coach of the Italian Para-Archery National Team, Giuseppe Verzini, Italian Para-Archery champion in 2025, Elisabetta Petris, gold in the female Junior category in the latest edition of the Italian Para-Archery Championships and Letizia Visintini, also like the two previously mentioned athletes, bearers of the Company Cormòns archers.
