A few days before the opening of the 2025 African Cup of Nations, the final of the Arab Cup will take place this Thursday at the Lusail stadium (Qatar) between Morocco and Jordan. Big favorites, the Moroccans have been looking for success in the competition since their first and only coronation in 2012. The Atlas Lions beat, not without difficulty despite the large score, the United Arab Emirates in the semi-final on Thursday (3-0).
They were joined a few hours later by the Jordanians, who defeated Hervé Renard’s Saudi Arabia (1-0) thanks to a goal from their midfielder Nizar Al-Rashdan. The latter, for their part, have never been able to do better than a third place, won at the end of the Arab Cup organized in Kuwait in 2002.
The FIFA Arab Cup final between Morocco and Jordan can be watched this Thursday, December 18 at 5 p.m. It will be broadcast on BeIN Sports 1.
