Andreas & Ronaldo: Partnership Details & Deal Breakdown

Andreas Pereira speaks six languages, which opens up a good market outside the country: the player knows how to speak Portuguese, Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian and French.

The midfielder was born in Belgium, when his father played in the country, but his parents are Brazilian. Before Palmeiras, Andreas played for Fulham, Lazio, Manchester United, Valencia, Granada and PSV (where Ronaldo shone in the 94/95 and 95/96 seasons), which is why he learned to speak so many languages.

Andreas Pereira is said to be the Palmeiras player with the most followers on Instagram (4.7 million), which caught the attention of Ronaldo’s agency. Last month alone, Andreas’ Instagram had a reach of 70 million.

The agreement with Ronaldo Fenômeno’s agency does not change the structure that Andreas already had to take care of his career. Giuliano Bertolucci remains the player’s manager, and Matheus Diniz, CEO of Aces Sport, manages the athlete’s image.

“Ronaldo’s first contact with Andreas was through his father [Marcos Antônio Pereira, ex-jogador de futebol]. Andreas said he was with me, but he is one of my best friends. I said: ‘It’s Ronaldo, are you crazy?’. I trust my work on social media, but when it comes to commercial matters, Ronaldo is the greatest of all,” Matheus Diniz told UOL.

“Ronaldo only goes after athletes who have the chance to go to the World Cup, with a different vision. Andreas is set to be one of the strong names in Brazilian football,” he added.
