Andalusian Badminton: Motero & Segura on Sports & Diversity

The CETD athletes of Andalusia Francisco Motero and Iván Segura have been participating in the “Sport and Diversity” sessions organized by the Huelva Provincial Council and which have taken place at the “Emilio Martín” Ibero-American Stadium, where nearly a thousand students have passed through the different sports centers, among which was para-badminton in the indoor area of the Ibero-American Stadium.

This activity has been carried out on the occasion of the International Day of People with Disabilities and in addition to being able to learn about and practice our sport with two international para-badminton players such as Francisco Motero and Iván Segura, those attending this event in the city of Huelva have also tried other disciplines such as indoor soccer, 7-a-side soccer, volleyball, basketball, etc. The reason for holding this sporting event is so that the youngest people can become aware of the difficulties that these types of athletes face every day.
