(Montreal) The Alouettes have awarded a two-year contract to American defensive back Faion Hicks, the Montreal team announced Monday.

The five-foot, 10-inch, 192-pound Hicks pact will be under contract until the conclusion of the 2027 season. He was selected by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
In two games, he made one tackle and assisted one. He totaled 107 tackles, 16 pass breakups and one interception in four seasons with the University of Wisconsin Badgers.
Originally from Pembroke Pines, Florida, the 28-year-old also played for the New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. In 2025, he played with the Baltimore Stallions of the UFL.
