In its eleventh edition, this diary joins the different actions that the associations carry out this Christmas, such as the raffle for a basket among clients and the traditional Santa Claus on Madrid Avenue

AICOSLA brings back this Christmas the calendar ‘Put a face on your trusted business’, an initiative that has now been in existence for eleven years and has established itself as one of the essentials of these dates that residents look forward to, as this yearbook not only marks the days of the year, but also brings Laguneros and Laguneras closer to those people in front of their nearest stores and businesses.
Accompanied by the Councilor for Local Development, Fernando Vara, the president and treasurer of the merchants’ association, Juan Carlos González and Santiago Sánchez, they presented the 2026 calendar this Tuesday at City Hall. At the event, González explained that in this edition there has been a circulation of nearly 2,400 newspapers, once again increasing the impression, because “we want to continue growing and reach more neighbors.”
This yearbook, in which all AICOSLA members appear, “some in photos and others with the name of the establishment”, can now be obtained in all businesses in Laguna for free, and is once again added to the rest of the initiatives that the group is developing in the municipality on these dates.
And apart from the calendar, which is their main action, the La Laguna merchants have once again prepared other activities, such as decorating the streets with red carpets in the establishments, or the raffle for a Christmas basket valued at nearly 2,000 euros and which includes coupons to spend in the stores and their products. As in previous editions, to qualify for the prize you must deposit a ticket in any of the associated businesses, which will be delivered for any purchase within them.
Likewise, Santa Claus will once again collect the letters from the little ones on Madrid Avenue, 55; an event that will take place this Friday, December 19 at 5:00 p.m. where a series of coupons will also be distributed “to spend in Laguna businesses”, and attendees will be able to enjoy a chocolate.
On behalf of the City Council, Fernando Vara has claimed the support that the City Council and the Department of Local Development provides to AICOSLA through a subsidy “for the promotion and development of commerce in Laguna and the promotion of this type of activities that boost not only Christmas, but also consumption in the businesses of our municipality.”
