SV Meppen and Adrian Lenz will end their collaboration on December 31, 2025. Both sides have agreed to terminate the contract, which originally ran until June 30, 2026, early and by mutual agreement.
Lenz was out for the entire 2025 calendar year due to injury. The 25-year-old now wants to take the time and rest to get back to his old strength. “After open and trusting discussions about his current situation, Adrian came to us with the desire to change his sport,” explains Olufemi Smith, sporting director of SV Meppen. “We very much regret Adrian’s departure from a sporting and personal perspective, but we fully understand his situation and motives, so we are complying with his wishes and terminating the contract early.”
Lenz found his way from SC Spelle-Venhaus to SV Meppen in the summer of 2024. The left-footer played for SVM in a total of twelve competitive games, in which he scored one goal.
SV Meppen would like to thank Adrian Lenz for his dedication and commitment in the Emsländer jersey and wishes him all the best for his private and sporting future.
