As of November 30, 2025, nearly 1.5 million people have received a one-time SG60 ActiveSG point of 100 yuan, which can be used to pay for admission to public swimming pools and gyms, and to book sports facilities. The Sports Council of Singapore reminds members to log in to MyActiveSG+ by December 31 at the latest to claim these extra points.
In response to Lianhe Zaobao’s inquiry, a spokesperson from the Sports Council of Singapore (SportSG) pointed out that among the more than 1.48 million members who have received SG60 ActiveSG points worth 100 yuan, nearly 40% have used the points at least once.
Data shows that the three items with the most points used are purchasing gym passes, swimming pool passes, and booking sports facilities.
In conjunction with the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and to encourage residents to actively participate in sports, the government announced in March 2025 that all Singapore citizens and permanent residents can receive a one-time recharge of SG60 ActiveSG points of S$100 as long as they log in to MyActiveSG+ from June 2 to December 31.
In addition to being used to purchase gym and swimming pool passes, and book badminton courts and other sports facilities, members can also use points to offset the cost of some ActiveSG classes, such as Zumba and yoga classes. If you sign up for “Active Health” related courses, you can pay in full with points.

From June 2, citizens and permanent residents can receive 100 yuan ActiveSG points to recharge
A spokesman for the Sports Council said that for all members who have collected points, their points will be automatically extended once and will be valid until December 31, 2026. Afterwards, if a member completes at least one transaction in 2026, the unused points can be rolled over to 2027.
On the other hand, if there are no transactions at all in 2026, the remaining points will expire at the end of 2026.
In addition, new ActiveSG members, that is, Singapore citizens and permanent residents who register through MyActiveSG+ for the first time, can still receive 100 yuan in registration points under the original plan. This also means that new members can receive points worth a total of 200 yuan this year.
Members like that the facilities have low fees, but it is difficult to book the venue during popular times.
The reporter visited Bukit Canberra Sports and Community Center and Yishun Sports Center to learn about the public’s use of ActiveSG points. The vast majority of the respondents have received the extra 100 yuan in points, but due to the low fees for passes and facility bookings, many still have points left.
Yan Biao (40 years old) accompanies his 9-year-old child to Bukit Canberra Sports and Community Center for swimming lessons every week. He said that the daily swimming pool pass for children is only 5 cents, and the children also have their own points, so the family still has a lot of unused points.
Housewife Chen Weifang (44 years old) took advantage of the school holiday to book a table tennis table for her children to kill time for an hour. She said that the fee is 1 yuan and 50 cents during off-peak hours. Since the sports facilities are rarely used, the points for personal use are less than 10 yuan. She believes that the government’s provision of points can encourage more people to develop exercise habits.
A polytechnic student surnamed Chen said that he often goes to Bukit Canberra Sports Complex and Community Center to play badminton with his golf friends. Although the venue fee is not high, it is difficult to book during popular times. They usually book the venue through their MyActiveSG+ accounts and share the related expenses including badminton.
Sembawang resident Chen Jieling (29 years old, interior designer) mainly goes to Bukit Canberra ActiveSG gym to exercise. She said that although there are many people in the gym, the equipment is relatively new and complete. In addition, she often buys a 30 yuan monthly pass, and the average daily cost is only about 1 yuan, which is very cost-effective.
Retired Bao Shunsheng (66 years old) and his wife are also sports enthusiasts and use the ActiveSG gym and swimming pool every week. Since two people over 65 years old can enter for free, the extra points have not been used yet. After being reminded by reporters, he learned that he could use points to sign up for other sports or Active Health courses, and said he would go online to check for suitable options.
