Clear success for Acqua Eva Saluzzo in the derby against Acaja Fossano
In the last home match of 2025, everything was easy for Acqua Eva Saluzzo, who won the provincial derby against Acaja Fossano with a resounding score of 102-46, thus achieving a well-deserved victory which confirms their second position in the standings.
The start of the match was immediately Saluzzo-style, with coach Siragusa’s boys approaching well from the first minutes, closing the first quarter with an important partial, leading 37-10. In the second quarter the Marchones pushed the accelerator again, reaching the locker rooms at half time with a lead of 53-20.
The return for the third set is more than a formality for Acqua Eva Saluzzo, who continues to extend their lead, reaching the score of 77-32 at the sound of the third siren. The last quarter is about managing the result, with the Saluzzo team reaching 100 points and creating a significant difference in the standings which could prove decisive in the remainder of the season.
In the next round, Acqua Eva Saluzzo will face another provincial derby, this time against Granda Basket in Cuneo on Sunday 14 December.
