AN UNREPEATABLE DECADE
In the 90s the automotive industry showed an unprecedented ferment for the so-called hypercar. The gradual rise of emerging economies such as China and other regions, not just South-East Asia, is widening the pool of potential buyers of dream super sports cars, models that until then had been the almost exclusive prerogative of the very rich Westerners and the sheikhs of Arab countries.
Many manufacturers, even generalists, perceive this new scenario economical, an opportunity not to be missed and, also galvanized by image return offered by motorsport, decide to build racing cars that are spectacular in style and technologically super advanced.
“Beasts” sometimes related to racing cars, or, more “prosaically”, the result of titanic projects to try to impress billionaires eager to put themselves in a garage jewel on wheels produced in a handful of specimens.
