2026 World Cup: Senegal Schedule & Stadiums Guide

The day after the draw for the 2026 World Cup, Fifa revealed the full schedule for the group stage. Senegal already knew its future opponents at the World Cup. In Group I, the Lions of Teranga will meet the Blues for a repeat of 2002 during which they won 1-0.

In the rest of the group, the Senegalese selection will meet Norway and an intercontinental play-off which will be Suriname, Bolivia or Iraq.

Pape Thiaw’s players will play their first match in New York on June 16 at 9 p.m. (French time). They will meet Didier Deschamps’ French team there.

For the second day, they will stay in the same city, where this time they will face Norway. A duel which will take place on the night of June 22 to 23, at 2 a.m.

The Senegalese’s last match, against the intercontinental play-off, will take place at 9 p.m. on June 26, in Toronto, Canada.
