With the presence of the presidents and different leaders of all categories, the draws corresponding to the 2026 Ascenso season are being carried out.
The event began with the words of President Claudio Tapia, who stated: “It is an honor to be able to receive you at the Lionel Andrés Messi property. The last promotion was defined, which was that of Acassuso, and we are already here, organizing and drawing lots for what the season will be for 2026.
The Rise makes us think about the ability of leaders to achieve everything they achieve. One sometimes believes that it is easy to compete, to grow in the building sector, to maintain a club. And no, it is very difficult. One does not generate the resources that a League club generates. It is sacrifice, vocation, effort. It is being able to have ingenuity so that every day, its institutions not only fulfill the social role of the clubs of the promotion and the interior of our country, but also with the social role: that of opening their doors, being a family for the boys and girls who compete.
Today football has changed. There are many promotion players in First Division teams. Much more attention is paid to the player trained in the interior categories, in the promotion ones. That’s what we continue to work for, so that everyone has more opportunities, more screens where everyone sees the value that clubs have in the training categories. Working to be able to recognize the television rights or the audiovisual rights that televise all of you.
Growth is not only sporting, but also improving conditions in all aspects. Everyone, to a greater or lesser extent, has been doing it. Sometimes you recognize football because it is what you see the most. But we, who start from the bottom, know what it is like to be in your place. We know what it’s like to be in the day-to-day life of a promotion club. It is not managing poverty, but it is much less resources than those who compete in higher categories.
I want to congratulate each and every one of the leaders who are present here, from all categories. They are trainers and renew the enthusiasm of thousands of kids. Let’s continue working together and may next year be even better than this one.”
