January 22, PSG-Manchester City (4-2): the match that changed everything
There was a before and after Manchester City. It’s clear. And all the Parisian players say it. With their backs against the wall, the Parisians had to win against Pep Guardiola’s players to hope to finish in the Top 24 in C1. It got off to a bad start… Jack Grealish (50th) and Erling Haaland (55th) threw a cold spell on the Parc des Princes. And everything changed. The match. The season. The story. Ousmane Dembélé (56th), Bradley Barcola (60th), João Neves (78th) and Gonçalo Ramos (90+3) shook the nets (4-2). Click. Luis Enrique’s players moved into another dimension thanks to this founding act.

March 12, Liverpool-PSG (0-1 ap, 1-4 tab): to dream bigger
After a flamboyant start to the year, the Parisians came up against the best in Europe during the round of 16 of C1, Liverpool. Dominant, they were trapped by a late goal from Harvey Elliott in the first leg (0-1), at the Parc des Princes. Mission impossible at Anfield? Not for the unsinkable Rouge et Bleu, who won 1-0 after extra time in the north of England, thanks to a goal from Ousmane Dembélé in the 12th minute. A Dantesque fight, during which Gigio Donnarumma achieved feats during regulation time and during the penalty shootout. A deserved qualification, which opened the door to all dreams.

May 31, PSG-Inter Milan (5-0): the demonstration
After dismissing Brest (3-0, 7-0), Liverpool (0-1, 1-0 ap and 4-1 tab), Aston Villa (3-1, 2-3) and Arsenal (1-0, 2-1), the Parisians still had to climb the last step. The hardest? Fallers of Barcelona in the half (3-3, 4-3), the Inter Milan players stood in their way at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Relaxed, concentrated, rested, the French champions never trembled in this one-sided encounter (5-0). A victory? A demonstration. There wasn’t even a match, not the slightest worry, ever. Achraf Hakimi (12), Désiré Doué (20th, 63rd), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (73rd) and Senny Mayulu (86th) shook the nets. Historical.

July 9, PSG-Real Madrid (4-0): a special flavor
After a hard-fought success against Bayern (2-0), in the quarters, nine against eleven, the European champions challenged their predecessors in the C1 list in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup, Real, at MetLife Stadium. A special match due to the bickering between the leaders. PSG-Real was also the first time that PSG challenged Kylian Mbappé, top scorer in the club’s history, since his departure in 2024. A match which ended short. Paris made short work of a Casa Blanca who were still learning football from their new coach, Xabi Alonso. 4-0 victory, with a double from Fabián Ruiz (6th, 24th) and goals from Ousmane Dembélé (9th) and Gonçalo Ramos (87th). The story was settled at halftime.

October 1, Barcelona-PSG (1-2): against all odds
The price to pay after an extended 2024-25 season? The Parisians suffered a barrage of injuries at the start of the 2025-26 campaign. For their second European match of the season, they traveled to Barcelona with a significantly reduced team. Marquinhos, “Kvara” and Ousmane Dembélé in the infirmary. João Neves last minute package. In these conditions, it is difficult to envisage winning in Catalonia. And yet… Brilliant in solidarity, without fear, the Parisians got the better of Lamine Yamal’s team (1-2). Senny Mayulu (38th) and Gonçalo Ramos (90th) responded to Ferran Torres’ opener (19th). Stunning, like during the European Super Cup against Tottenham (2-2, 4-3 tab). Third victory in a row in Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain after 2021 and 2024.
