The Yakutians played in group No. 10, where their first opponent was the SOBR-MLFL team from Mytishchi near Moscow, a finalist of the FONBET Russian Cup 8×8 and a semi-finalist of the 2024 national championship. At the beginning of the match, Aital Burtsev opened the scoring with a cross to the far post, but the meeting ended in the defeat of Sport Yakutia with a score of 1:7. In the second match of the group stage, the Yakut football players lost to the St. Petersburg “Unitek” – 0:7.

The chances of reaching the 1/32 finals remained through the play-offs, but the Yakut team lost to Yaroslavl “Zvezda BigTech” with a score of 1:3. The debut at such a high level was not easy, but the experience gained will be a good foundation for further growth.
