Three-year-old Maya will soon have a sibling. Beach volleyball player Martina Nausch Sluková announced on her Instagram that she and her husband Simon Nausch are expecting a baby.
At the same time, it is not even a year since Sluková unfortunately lost her unborn child. “Being a mom is the most for me. The biggest gift and the biggest test. A few months ago, we held onto another dream for a while, which vanished before he could grow up. And yet – or maybe just because of that – I know how rare it is. Every ‘mom’ (and that there are some!) Being a mom is a miracle,” she wrote in the spring, when she had to cope with a painful loss.
But now she is beaming with happiness and together with her partner are looking forward to a new addition to the family. “One more hand to hold, one more beautiful heart that we can love.
