Rui Costa: Shared Responsibility Explained

After São Paulo’s 6-0 defeat to Fluminense, this Thursday (27), football executive Rui Costa gave an interview at Maracanã.

“The defeat does not match the history of this club, it does not match the work we try to do every day. We are all responsible,” said the director.

“There is nothing that justifies today’s result. We have to ask the fans for forgiveness and get back on track with a lot of work and commitment”, he added.

São Paulo returns to the field next Wednesday (3), at 8 pm, facing Internacional, in Vila Belmiro, in a duel valid for the Brazilian Championship.
