ZEIST – Rick Andeweg is set to conclude his tenure as the head coach of fourth-division club Saestum after the current season.

Andeweg spent three seasons at the helm of the Zeist-based squad. In his inaugural year, saestum narrowly missed out on securing the period title, a significant achievement in the season following thier promotion. However, the previous season saw the club relegated back to the fourth division. Andeweg expressed his feelings, stating, Everyone knows my ambitions, and that is why, after three seasons, it is indeed time to say goodbye as head coach of this beautiful club. He added, This year, we will give our all with the players and staff to achieve promotion. Saestum has initiated the search for Andeweg’s successor.

The club expressed regret over the parting of ways. The board commented, On the other hand, as an association, we always adhere to a maximum contract duration of three years for a head coach. They further lauded Andeweg’s contributions, noting, Rick is a very driven trainer with a positive, attacking style of play. He possesses a broader viewpoint beyond the immediate squad and has had a positive influence on the entire club.
