The changes affect two functions. The one on Saturday the 22nd at the Astelena in Eibar preserves the date, but changes part of its composition. The one at Madalensoro in Oiartzun, originally scheduled for Sunday the 30th, is delayed two days, to Tuesday, December 2 and will begin at 7:00 p.m.
The objective of the adjustment is to allow the national team players to be present in the two competitions as normally as possible. Beñat Zubizarreta and Unax Landa, who will form a pair in Oiartzun, are selected by Euskadi, while Salsamendi, Oskoz, Zabaleta and Capellán are among those pre-called by Spain.
The Astelena program, where in principle they announced a match in each category on Saturday the 22nd starting at 4:00 p.m., will finally be made up of two promising eliminators (Izagirre-Moto against Markel Salaberria-Figueroa and Ramirez-Aitor Etxebarria against Egurrola-Ormaetxea, a combination that was going to be resolved in the Madalensoro) and one of the senior category (Beñat Apezetxea-Elorz versus Ibarluzea-Asier Balerdi).
The women’s duel scheduled for Astelena, Laia Salsamendi against Andrea Capellán, will definitely go to Oiartzun. He will share the cartel with Goiuri Zabaleta-Leire Oskoz and the senior clash between Beñat Zubizarreta-Landa and Iker Egiguren-Santesteban.
Once the last places have been granted at the Madalensoro, it will be time for the semi-finals, scheduled for Saturday, December 6 at the Atano III in Donostia and Saturday, December 13 at the Beotibar in Tolosa.
