Pastrňák added the first pass right after Boston’s opening goal, but the Canadiens still managed to answer that one. But in the second period, the Bruins jumped to a two-goal lead, Pavel Zacha, in addition to Pastrňák, assisted on the 3:1 goal. Montreal, which did not put Jakub Dobeš in the goal area, only managed to reduce the score to 2:3.
Thanks to the Czech hockey players, Boston won the eighth game out of the last nine. Pastrňák, in particular, contributed significantly to this, collecting eight points for four goals and four assists in the last four games.
